After the maternity tour at the Raffles Hospital, we started looking for an O&G specialist...Since we both liked that hospital, the specialists practiced there were the first ones that we approached.
I read quite some reviews and comments online, and saw one that's especially popular and got tons of positive reviews.
Unfortunately, when I called (in early November), I was told that she's fully booked until end December for a weekday appointment and late January for a Saturday appointment!!!!! 😱
For the first pregnancy, we read that the first checkup should be around 6-8 weeks...So, we had to look for another one ... 😞 We wouldn't want to wait for another 2-3 months not knowing if the "baby" was doing okay anyway.
Knowing that I wanted a female doctor and preferably someone who can speak Cantonese, we narrowed down our search.
Eventually Nils found one at the Parkway East Hospital that matched my "requirements", and was also willing to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning! 👏🏻👏🏻
With the appointment made, we felt a bit relieved 😌
Ha! But that's just a trial of our many worry-relief cycles in the months to come 😏
