On the way to Masai Mara
Honeymoon - Day 2
It still didn't seem real that we were actually going to go on a safari tour, although we were in a 7-seater 4x4...(yup, for the 2 of us)!
Masai Mara is 240 km away from Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Guess how long it took to get to our lodge in Masai Mara?

We passed by a village and a church built by Italian prisoners of war, and reached a view point with a stunning view, a store and a local coffee shop/souvenir shop.

The first 3 hours passed in comfort. But before we've noticed, the paved roads were behind us...and the guide announced, "It's time for some African massage!". Haha!
After enjoying 2 hours of African massage, we arrived at the Mara Simba Lodge, just in time for lunch. Yes, you guessed it right, we began the 5 hour drive at 7am!
